Privacy Policy

Introduction
At Neumori LLP, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you visit and interact with our website. We believe in transparency and only collect what’s absolutely necessary to provide our services.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to enhance your experience on our site. We store your light/dark mode selection in a first-party cookie. This allows your preference to persist between visits so you don’t have to reset it each time. The cookie contains no personally identifiable information.
When you like a blog post, we generate a random, anonymous identifier (UUID) stored in your browser’s localStorage. On our servers, we store only an irreversible cryptographic hash of this UUID and the specific blog post identifier. This system allows us to remember which posts you’ve liked, maintain accurate like counts, and preserve your anonymity.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for maintaining your selected interface theme across visits and ensuring a consistent viewing experience. For blog likes, we display which posts you’ve liked, calculate aggregate engagement metrics, and improve content based on popularity. We never sell or share your data with third parties, use your data for advertising or profiling, or combine this data with any personally identifiable information.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your personal data with any external parties except when legally required to do so (e.g., in response to valid court orders). The only information that might be considered public is aggregate like counts on blog posts, which represent the total number of likes and contain no user-specific data.
Data Protection and Security
We implement appropriate security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions, secure hashing algorithms for like records, and regular security audits of our systems. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we implement best practices to protect your information.
Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data. You can adjust your cookie preferences anytime via our:
Privacy Preferences panel at the bottom of this page
and clear your browser cookies to reset your theme choice. Because of how our system works, we cannot delete individual like records from our database as they are stored as irreversible hashes and impossible to trace back to specific users. However, you can completely break the connection between your browser and our records by disabling Blog Likes in your cookie preferences by accessing the Privacy Preferences panel at the bottom of this page.
This will remove your local UUID and prevent future likes from being associated with your previous activity. Like counts will remain as they represent aggregate community engagement.
If you’re in the EU, you may also request access to what personal data we have, ask for correction of inaccurate data, object to certain processing activities, and lodge complaints with a supervisory authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we’ll clearly post the “Last Updated” date at the top and summarize significant changes in a changelog. For major changes, we may provide additional notice via email or website banners.
